C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) was a prolific English author and scholar whose writings include literary essays and histories, poems, imaginative fiction and many works on Christian and moral themes. Among his books are The Allegory of Love, The Screwtape Letters, Out of the Silent Planet, Till We Have Faces and the autobiographical Surprised by Joy. Best loved are the seven fairy tales collectively entitled The Chronicles of Narnia in which Lewis created a magical, allegorical world populated by creatures of myth and fantasy and ruled over by Aslan, the Great Lion. Since published in 1950, the first of the chronicles, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, has been read and reread with delight and deepening understanding by millions of children and adults alike. It has been through over 40 editions and re-printings in English and translated into more than two dozen languages. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has been widely acclaimed as a true modern classic.
The Nowaks of Buffalo, NY, have always known they were special, ever since that 1942 Christmas Eve miracle when the Blessed Mother appeared in Grandpa’s barbershop! But when one family member sets out to share their story in a one-woman show, a shocking confession unravels the family legend. A heartfelt and hilarious tale of faith, family, and unexpected truths.

Tom Dudzick
Tom Dudzick had his first play, Greetings! produced off-Broadway at the John Houseman Theatre. Dudzick went on to write a comedic semi-autobiographical series of plays about growing up Catholic in Buffalo called the Over the Tavern Trilogy, which has been one of the biggest grassroots successes in American regional theatre. Mr. Dudzick’s home theatre, Buffalo’s Studio Arena, then commissioned his idea about a parochial school novice who takes religion into her own hands, entitled Hail Mary!. Next up for Studio Arena was Don’t Talk to the Actors, a hilarious semi-autobiographical backstage comedy. Dudzick’s newest work, Miracle on South Division Street was produced off-Broadway, where it was praised by audiences and The New York Times.
