The Weathervane maintains a commitment to children and young audiences not only by including ‘family-friendly’ professional Mainstage productions and offering a full summer of children’s theatre by the Patchwork Players but also by continuing to develop and promote a wide range of performance and learning experiences.
For children with an active imagination and interest in theatre arts, Windsock Camp offers day camp sessions for a range of ages and abilities. An experienced staff provides direction and learning through a variety of play and class settings.
Giggle and grow with a theatrical education and summer-camp experience!
For ages 6-17! Running 9-4, the camp day will be divided into blocks of rehearsal for the camp show and blocks of instruction from Weathervane guest and resident artists covering all aspects of theatre (dance, music, Shakespeare, tech, etc.), strengthening the connection between the campers and the Weathervane resident company. Lunch not provided. One and two-week sessions available.
Note: Only campers enrolled in Week 2 will be in the camp show.
