Vero Villalobos
Vero Villalobos is a New York City–based actor and playwright raised in a proud immigrant family whose stories continue to shape her artistic voice. Her work centers on identity, cultural inheritance, and the quiet tensions between faith, family, and self-definition. A nominated performer for the BroadwayWorld Theater Awards, she brings emotional precision and vulnerability to both stage and page.
Writing credits include guest playwright for Expanding the Canon with Theatre KAPOW, and playwright of Ni Mangos!, Super Pollo, and Mute. for Ram’s Word’s at Angelo State University. Stage credits include Darker the Night, Brighter the Stars at Penobscot Theatre Company, The Tempest at Weathervane Theatre, and My Story is Gluskabe at Penobscot Theatre Company.
