WHITEFIELD, NH—Weathervane Producing Artistic Director Ethan Paulini and BridgeCo Director Marisa Kirby are proud to announce the 2026 Patchwork Players Season—The Quest, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the Magic Go Go Boots, and Broadway Bound 2: Big Roles, Bigger Dreams. Sponsored by Crosstown Motors, Little Village Toy and Book Shop, and New England Wire Technologies, this year’s 36th season will run July 3rd through August 21st at the Weathervane and begins touring the North Country July 1st.

For the seventh consecutive season, performances at the Weathervane will be held outside as part of the popular Picnic with Patchwork series. Performances are held every Friday at 11 AM. Bring a blanket and a snack to this pet-friendly event and enjoy an excellent show for the whole family (even the family dog!). In case of rain, alternate arrangements will be made (check Weathervane’s social media for the latest updates).

About the Shows:

THE QUEST

Celebrate kindness, courage, and compassion in this movement-filled adventure, inspired by Jon J. Muth’s retelling of Leo Tolstoy’s The Three Questions. Plays July 1 – 11.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

A brave young woman meets a fearsome Beast—and discovers the heart underneath. A fresh and lively adaptation of this tale as old as time about inner beauty. Plays July 15 – 24.

SNOW WHITE AND THE MAGIC GO GO BOOTS

When a duck-billed stork delivers Snow White, chaos ensues. A bossy magic mirror, a reluctant prince, Girl Scout adventures, and go-go boots fuel this fairy-tale spoof, proving happily ever after rarely goes according to plan. Plays July 29 – August 7.

BROADWAY BOUND 2: BIG ROLES, BIGGER DREAMS

Broadway Bound is back! Our performers are all grown up, aiming for the stars. Packed with songs, dance, and heart, this show celebrates big dreams and the belief that anything is possible. Plays August 12 – 21.

These productions will be performed by the 2026 Patchwork Players, members of Weathervane’s BridgeCo, an elite performance ensemble composed of half a dozen early-career artists selected from a highly competitive nationwide search.

In addition to performing at the Weathervane, these productions will play on the road at Bethlehem’s Colonial Theatre, Colebrook’s Great North Woods Center for the Arts, and in Lisbon.
