Sondheim Musical Revue to Play at Weathervane Theatre Labor Day Weekend Only

WHITEFIELD, NH—Producing Artistic Director Ethan Paulini and New Hampshire’s award-winning Weathervane Theatre are pleased to present SONDHEIM’S PUTTING IT TOGETHER— a witty and heartfelt musical revue celebrating love, laughter, and life. Featuring the music of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, this musical revue plays Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th only.

Celebrate legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim through nearly 30 poignant, powerful, and witty songs from the American musical theatre canon. This beautiful, funny, and emotionally charged revue follows two couples on an elegant evening, revealing their complex relationships and deepest desires. Showcasing the breadth of Sondheim’s career, PUTTING IT TOGETHER features selections from FOLLIES, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, COMPANY, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, SWEENEY TODD, and more.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER is directed by Weathervane Producing Artistic Director Ethan Paulini and associate directed by Jacob A. Butler with choreography by Dani Barrett.

“My favorite songs by my favorite composer being sung by my favorite people,” says Paulini. “There was truly only one Stephen Sondheim, and I can think of no better way to celebrate the holiday weekend than with this enormously entertaining collection of songs by the master himself performed by our wildly talented cast. Prepare to revel in the humor, heart, and nuance of Sondheim’s canon; each song its own tiny masterpiece interpreted by some of the best singer-actors I have ever had the privilege to collaborate with.”
