While spying on their wives at a “girls’ night out,” a group of unemployed steelworkers create a bold and unclothed plan to make some quick cash. In addition to being the Producing Artistic Director of the Weathervane Theatre, Ethan served as the Associate Artist Director of New York City’s Out of the Box Theatrics. He has national credits as a director, choreographer, actor, writer, and educator. Robert is grateful to return to the Weathervane as Associate Artistic Director for Season 59 and be a part of this amazing theatrical community and incredible creative team. He continues to be excited about working with Ethan Paulini and his continued dedication to the vision of its Founders, Gibbs Murray and Tom Haas, and former Artistic Director Jacques Stewart. Andrew Morrissey (he/him)

FIFTH SEASON

Andrew Morrissey is a NYC-based pianist, music director, vocal coach, and composer. Experience includes educational, community, and semi-professional theatre in NH, NYC, and the DMV area. A NH native, regional credits include Interlakes, Jean’s Playhouse, Winnipesaukee Playhouse and Plymouth State University, where he received a BA in Music. He has an MM in stage music composition from CUA, and his thesis project grew into a fully-fledged staging of Lost In Wonderland with DC’s Pallas Theatre Collective. Current projects include a new musical based on Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Gray and another on the life of Rasputin. IG: Andrewmorrisseymusic

Camden Dalie Keech (he/him)

is happy to return to the mountains for a second season. Camden hails from Central Arkansas, where he studied design, directing, and acting. Camden really hopes you enjoy the show!

 

Gibbs Murray (he/him)

FIFTY-NINTH SEASON

Gibbs co-founded Weathervane Theatre back in 1966 and is still Weathervane’s resident designer for sets, posters, and illustrations. Favorite roles: Elwood P. Dowd, Captain Hook, Bottom. 2024 set designs include The Wedding Singer and The Full Monty.

Rien Schlecht (she/her)

TWENTIETH SEASON

Favorite Weathervane designs include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (NH Theatre Award), Guys and Dolls (NH Theatre Award), Eurydice, Buyer and Cellar, and Sweeney Todd (NH Theatre Award). Her New York theatre credits – Out of the Box Theatrics, including the Drama Desk-nominated Baby, several seasons with Theatre For A New Audience, Radio City, Mark Morris Ballet, and many other theatres and TV commercials. She designed The Mysteries at The Flea (Drama Desk nom), The Jinx for HBO, worked on The Woodsman at New World Stages, and the stage and film productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Julie Taymor. 

Julie Adams (they/them)

FIRST SEASON

Julie Adams is a Lighting Designer from Melbourne, FL. They graduated from Florida State University (FSU) in December 2023 with a B.A. in Theatre, focusing on production and design. They are starting their MFA in Lighting Design at Carnegie Mellon in the fall of 2024.

FOURTH SEASON

While this is his fourth season at Weathervane, this is his first season living a full year in beautiful New Hampshire! Originally from Columbus, Ohio. He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre. He is constantly thankful that both the company and the community have taken him in so graciously. 

CLAIRE VOGT (she/they)

FIRST SEASON 

Claire is a scenic artist based in central Ohio. Having graduated last year with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology, they enjoy collaborating with others to create amazing art and shows. They have recently been working as a freelance designer and are excited to work at Weathervane this summer!

Pyper Williams is spending her third season here at Weathervane painting away in the shop, bringing to life the sets you see on stage this summer. She studied Acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts but now prefers to take a more behind-the-scenes approach with painting sets.

SEVENTH SEASON

Credits: Atlantic Theater Company (Production Stage Manager): ANATOMY OAS. TFANA (Assistant Stage Manager): FEFU AND HER FRIENDS. Weston Playhouse (Asst Stage Manager): INDECENT. She is excited to return to the White Mountains. She recently received her MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College.

Kenzie Kilroy (she/her)

FIRST SEASON

Kenzie is a theatre professional based in NYC, working as a Stage Manager, Designer, & Assistant Casting Director at serval venues, including The Laurie Beechman, Theatre for a New Audience, The Triad Theater, & National Sawdust (2021- 2024). Other venues include Curious Theatre Company and Miners Alley Playhouse in Denver, CO.

Terrence McNally

Terrence McNally had a remarkably far-ranging career, including a new work on Broadway in each of the last six decades. In 2018 he was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is a 2019 recipient of a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement. He also received the Dramatists Guild Lifetime Achievement Award and the Lucille Lortel Lifetime Achievement Award. He won four Tony Awards for his plays Love! Valour! Compassion! and Master Class and his musical books for Kiss of the Spider Woman and Ragtime. He wrote a number of TV scripts, including “Andre’s Mother,” for which he won an Emmy Award. He received two Guggenheim Fellowships, a Rockefeller Grant, four Drama Desk Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards, two Obie Awards, and three Hull-Warriner Awards from the Dramatists Guild. In 1996 he was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame. He wrote the libretto for the operas Great Scott and Dead Man Walking, both with music by Jake Heggie. Other plays include Mothers and Sons; Lips Together, Teeth Apart; The Lisbon Traviata; Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune; A Perfect Ganesh; The Visit; The Full Monty; Corpus Christi; Bad Habits; Next; The Ritz; Anastasia; It’s Only a Play; Where Has Tommy Flowers Gone?; and The Stendhal Syndrome.

David Yazbek

A varied career as a recording artist, Emmy-winning TV and film writer, music producer, and pianist has somehow led Yazbek to a career on Broadway. His four shows, The Fully Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Women on The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and The Band’s Visit were all Tony-nominated for Best Score. Yazbek took home the Tony for Best Score for The Band’s Visit. The Fully Monty won him the Drama Desk Award for Best Music.  As a recording artist, Yazbek is responsible for five albums: The Laughing Man (winner NAIRD award, Best Pop Album of the Year), Tock, Damascus, Tape Recorder, and Evil Monkey Man. He also produced the original cast albums of The Band’s Visit, The Fully Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Women on The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, the first three of which were nominated for Grammy Awards.  Yazbek scored the final season of HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE, scored and performed the music for Larry David’s giant Broadway hit Fish in the Dark, and built an Ikea storage shelf. Yazbek teamed up with 13 librettist Robert Horn to collaborate on the musical Tootsie, which won the Tony for Best Book of a Musical and was nominated for a total of 11 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
