Lead by THE CHER SHOW's Morgan Scott, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill makes its U.S. Regional Premiere at the Weathervane June 25th

WHITEFIELD, NHNew Hampshire’s award-winning Weathervane Theatre is pleased to announce the cast of the U.S. regional premiere of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill: The Musical, playing June 25-29, 2025.

Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill: The Musical is an exhilarating new musical inspired by the themes and raw emotions laid bare in Alanis Morissette’s seminal album of the same name. The Healys appear to be a picture-perfect suburban family, but looks can be deceiving. When the cracks beneath the surface begin to show, they must choose between maintaining the status quo or facing harsh truths about themselves, their community, and the world around them.

Leading the cast is Morgan Scott as Mary Jane Healy (1st National tour – Star in The Cher Show). Joining Scott are Gregory DeCandia (Steve Healy), Jake Van Eycken (Nick Healy), Mack McCloud (Frankie Healy), August Quini (Jo), Lindsey Ross (Bella), and Jorge Donoso (Phoenix). Making up the ensemble are Dani Barrett, Eli Butler, Steven Dias, Marisa Kirby, Jeremy Lloyd, Brady McGuire, Grace McTier, Emmie Pack, Joshua Thompson, and Ria Yamdagni. Kirby is the dance captain.

Weathervane’s Producing Artistic Director, Ethan Paulini, directs the production. Among Paulini’s numerous directorial credits at the Weathervane standouts include last season’s acclaimed productions of Cabaret and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

“Growing up in the 90s, Alanis Morissette’s seminal album was the soundtrack to my teenage experience,” said Paulini. “When it premiered on Broadway, I couldn’t wait to see Weathervane alum Elizabeth Stanley starring as Mary Jane. As soon as I left the theatre, I knew we had to produce it here in Whitefield. I am honored to be the first regional theatre granted the rights to produce this Tony Award-winning musical. A perfect way to start such a landmark season.”

Jagged Little Pill features choreography by Ashley McManus with music direction by Andrew Morrissey and associate music direction by Bronwen Chan. It features design by Jeremy Baldauf (lighting design), Alexander Pikiben (sound design), Rien Schlecht (costume and set design), and Gabbie Flores (properties design). Additional creative team: Reed Davis (production stage manager), TessaMarie Beard, Sam Powers, and Rien Schlecht (assistant stage management), Vero Villalobolos (technical director), AP Pikiben (production manager), and Jason Luck (scenic charge).

Jagged Little Pill also features a seven-piece band under the direction of Andrew Morrissey—Jae Kim (violin), Jessie Lanham (drums), Shoshana Lieberman (viola), Andrew Morrissey (Keys), Ben Natti (guitar), Shannon Oliver (bass), Kate Renner (cello).

Kicking off Weathervane’s 60th season, Jagged Little Pill runs June 25 – 29, 2025. Special events for Jagged Little Pill include a free Alanis-inspired Karaoke night (June 13) filled with ’90s music, nostalgia, and fun, and an opening night champagne reception (June 25), where patrons can mix and mingle with the cast and the creative team at this intimate ticketed event.
