Tuesday, August 6 | Post-Show Panel: In partnership with the Whitefield Library, join Blair St. Clair and company for a post-show discussion about the evolution of gender identity, fluidity, and the safe haven the arts create for children who feel out of place. BLAIR ST. CLAIR, from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 and All Stars 5 (TOP FOUR), is an accomplished drag queen, singer, and actor. Film credits include Bittersweet with William Baldwin and Andrew Leeds and a leading role in John Waters’ upcoming musical remake of Bollywood & Vine: The Original B- Musical, alongside Jackie Hoffman and Lea Delaria.
In 2018, St. Clair’s debut album, Call My Life, reached number one on Billboard’s Dance Chart and featured the top-ten dance hits “Now or Never” and “Call My Life.” An established cabaret performer, St. Clair’s solo show, Legally Blair, debuted last year at Green Room 42 to critical acclaim.

In addition to being the Producing Artistic Director of the Weathervane Theatre, Ethan served as the Associate Artist Director of New York City’s Out of the Box Theatrics. He has national credits as a director, choreographer, actor, writer, and educator. David Grindrod (he/him)
THIRD SEASON
is excited to be back at Weathervane after directing and choreographing GUYS AND DOLLS (NH Theatre Alliance Award for Outstanding Choreography) and A CHORUS LINE. David is the associate to Tony Award recipient Baayork Lee, working alongside her on multiple national and international productions of A CHORUS LINE as well as CATS, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, WEST SIDE STORY and SOUTH PACIFIC. David choreographed THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA directed by Tony Award winner Victoria Clark. Andrew Morrissey is a NYC-based pianist, award-winning music director, vocal coach, and composer. Experience includes educational, community, and semi-professional theatre in NH, NYC, and the DMV area. A NH native, regional credits include Interlakes, Jean’s Playhouse, Winnipesaukee Playhouse and Plymouth State University, where he received a BA in Music. He has an MM in stage music composition from CUA, and his thesis project grew into a fully-fledged staging of Lost In Wonderland with DC’s Pallas Theatre Collective. Current projects include a new musical based on Oscar Wilde’s Dorian Gray and another on the life of Rasputin. IG: Andrewmorrisseymusic
Tom MacRae
Tom is a multi-award-winning screenwriter, producer, playwright, lyricist, author, and a double BAFTA and Olivier Theatre Awards nominee. Working on some of the UK’s biggest TV shows (including Doctor Who for which he was nominated for a Hugo Award) he also created the Comedy Central sitcom Threesome, which won the Montreux Comedy Award, before moving to the US to work as a writer/producer on TNT’s The Librarians. His musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie for which he provided both book and lyrics, opened in London’s West End in November 2017 for an open-ended run, and has been the smash hit of the season, garnering across-the-board five-star reviews, sold-out houses, and winning the prestigious UK Theatre Award for Best New Musical and the Writer’s Guild Great Britain Award for Best Musical Theatre Bookwriting. It opened in Los Angeles in February 2022 for a limited season at the Ahmanson Theater, and has multiple versions running concurrently around the world in a variety of languages. The Everybody’s Talking About Jamie movie, produced by Amazon Studios with lyrics and screenplay by Tom, dropped in 2021 on Amazon Prime and currently holds an 82% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Tom was made an honorary doctor of the arts by Sheffield Hallam University in 2018.
Dan Gillespie Sells
Dan Gillespie Sells is the Ivor Novello award-winning songwriter and front person of pop band The Feeling. His 20-year career has taken him (and his songs) into the worlds of dance, theatre, TV, and film. He has composed, arranged, and produced for and with artists as varied as Becky Hill, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Rufus Wainwright and Shakka Khan. The Feeling’s debut album, ‘Twelve Stops and Home’ sold over one million copies, whilst their second album, ‘Join With Us’ reached the No. 1 spot in the UK Charts. They are currently working on their sixth album which is due to be released on Island Records in 2022. Dan wrote the theme to BBC’s ‘Beautiful People’ TV show in 2008. Dan’s collaboration with The Royal Ballet’s Ed Watson and choreographer Javier DeFrutos 3 with D premiered at London’s Coliseum in 2014 and has since been performed at Stuttgart Ballet and The Joyce Theatre New York. Dan was the recipient of the 2015 Stonewall award for Entertainer of the Decade for his work in the LGBT community and the 2007 Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year. Other awards include Best Composer at The Stage Debut Awards 2017 plus BRIT and Oliver nominations including ‘outstanding achievement in music’. He is writing new stage or screen musicals for Studio Canal, Tornante Studios, Scenario Two and Warp/Film4.
Jonathan Butterell
Jonathan Butterell is a director and choreographer who has worked in London, New York and around the world. Most recently he directed the movie Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, released globally on Amazon Prime in 2021. Prior to that, he spent time developing and directing the award-winning stage musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. Further theatre director credits include Alone Together, Michael Ball’s one-man show (Donmar Warehouse and Theatre Royal Haymarket); Floyd Collins (Wilton’s Music Hall); Peter Pan (Royal Festival Hall); How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Royal Festival Hall); Second Chance (Signature Theatre, Arlington and New York Public Theater); Whida Peru: Ressurection Tangle (New York, Inner Voice for Premier Stages); Tres Niñas (Zipper Theatre, New York); as well as an associate director on Othello (Royal National Theatre, directed by Sam Mendes) and Hamlet (Royal Shakespeare Company, directed by Stephen Pimlott). Butterell created the musical staging for the Tony award-winning shows The Light in the Piazza (Lincoln Center Theater, directed by Barlett Sher) and Assassins (Studio 54 Broadway, directed by Joe Mantello), as well as the revival of Fiddler on the Roof (Minskoff Theatre, Broadway, directed by David Leveaux) and the musical staging for the original workshop of Sondheim’s musical Wise Guys with Nathan Lane and Victor Garber at New York Theatre Workshop, directed by Sam Mendes. Butterell also choreographed the Tony award-winning Nine, starring Antonio Banderas and Chita Rivera on Broadway (and further productions in London, Buenos Aires, and Tokyo, all directed by David Leveaux).

Kimani earned his B.A. in Theatre Arts at Boston College. After working in California, Florida, and again in New York for several years, Kimani just completed the first year of his M.F.A. Program. Kimani is excited to join the Weathervane Family.
